Our Society is a network of non-governmental organizations from Mostar dedicated to improving quality of life and finding solutions to important social problems. The current project implemented by Our Society is “Rights of the City,” for which Shift have the responsibility for campaign appearance and design. The main aim of the project is to improve quality of life in the City of Mostar through the adoption of key development strategies based on the wishes and needs of citizens. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to determine the input parameter, that is to determine what people really want and what they consider as key issues that require active work. For strategy creation it is very important to have pro-active and informed citizens who are aware of their role in public policy decision making. All activities lead to the specific objective of the project, and that is de-politicization and placing the real problems of the local community in the focus of public interest. Project activities must be timely and presented to a high standard in the media because the lack of quality media operations is reason why many non-governmental initiatives pass by unperceived. This project will surely inspire other non-governmental organizations to take similar action.
