Hercegovina vino, a food and beverage company based in Mostar, reached out to us with a request for a new visual system development and packaging design for their new range of food products. Our client also wanted to revitalize the existing product portfolio, with a particular emphasis on nature and tradition. We set out to create a unique brand which would epitomize the high quality of products prepared according to the traditional Herzegovinian recipes. Heritage, tradition and homemade qualities of the products were embodied in the fictional character of Auntie Nada (Teta Nada). Our designers gave the brand a warm vintage style, with a hand drawn character of Auntie Nada thus supporting and enriching the credibility of the character’s story while simultaneously focusing on the quality appeal of homemade products. The new packaging design reflects the passion for tradition and locally produced food, essential elements of our client’s business philosophy. The packaging design concept is flexible and allows endless variations for labels and introduction of new lines of products in the future.
