Shift Brand Design made a successful branding project for the Black Pearl - an exclusive and carefully furnished cocktail and lounge bar in the center of Mostar whose owner from the very beginning understood the need and importance of a unique identity that will convey the experience of comfort and be consistent in all points of interaction with guests. In order to express the personality and all the advantages of Black Pearl, the client entrusted SBD with creating a visual identity and branding the space.
The task was to create a unique logo and all the accompanying elements of communication, whether it was promotional materials, exterior or interior. It was necessary to create a brand that would be completely different from many competitors and that would convey a unique experience to the guest. The visual identity of the Black Bearl Cocktail and Lounge bar is based on the logo design, which finds its inspiration in three fields at the same time. It is derived from the recognizable forms of the initials of the bar’s name. At the same time its shape resembles a black pearl, and the logo itself is compatible with certain elements of the architectural solution applied in the building.
The design of the Black Pearl logo and complete visual identity have been applied to the elements of external and internal labeling, wardrobe, design of printed materials, design of beverage price lists, and other elements of communication characteristic of hospitality sector.
